Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or purchasing Thockly, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

Software license

Thockly is licensed, not sold. After a valid purchase, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software on Windows devices you control, subject to Lemon Squeezy license activation limits shown at checkout.

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer or redistribute the app except where law allows
  • Share license keys publicly or resell licenses without permission
  • Use the app for unlawful purposes or to violate others’ rights

Platform

Thockly is built for Windows 10/11 only. macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android are not supported.

Free trial and pricing

  • The Windows app includes a 7-day trial after installation.
  • A one-time purchase of $4.99 unlocks a lifetime license for the current product line as described at purchase.
  • There is no subscription fee for the base license.

Purchases and activation

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record. Their buyer terms apply to billing, refunds, and tax handling.

After purchase:

  1. Check your email for the license key from Lemon Squeezy.
  2. Open Thockly on your Windows PC.
  3. Enter the license key in the app’s activation flow.
  4. Keep internet access available occasionally so the app can validate the license (validation may be retried on a grace period if offline).

Refunds

Refund requests are handled under Lemon Squeezy’s refund policy and applicable consumer law. Contact Lemon Squeezy support through your receipt, or reach us via GitHub issues if you need help locating your key.

Updates

Updates are distributed via the public GitHub Releases GitHub Releases feed. We may add features or fixes without obligation to maintain specific compatibility beyond reasonable efforts.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM USE OF THE SOFTWARE OR THIS WEBSITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SOFTWARE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE LICENSE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
